Let's Talk about Orthomosaic Maps

Orthomo-what?? 😝 An orthomosaic is an aerial image of an area, composed of multiple photographs stitched together using photogrammetry, which has been scaled and geographically corrected for accuracy. It can be used to measure true distances because it's an accurate representation of the Earth's surface. 🗺 Pretty cool right?

So why am I telling you about it? Orthomosaic maps can help in a variety of different applications: Construction progression, documenting natural disasters or crime scenes, tracking conservation efforts or agricultural crop records.

And yes, Drone Wolf Northwest can provide orthomosaic maps for clients! Contact us today to learn more.
